RE-GATHERING PLAN

 

How Life Point Church is protecting your student from COVID-19

  • Clean and sanitize the facility and all high touch point surfaces.
  • Prop doors open if possible to reduce contact with common touch points.
  • Recommend Staff and Dream Team volunteers to wear face coverings.
  • Provide social distance seating in the classroom.
  • Encourage online, text to give, or giving stations. No offering collection in service.
  • Provide hand sanitation stations.
  • Designing route guidance and routines to promote social distancing and ease of entrance and exit to and from the sanctuary.
  • Requiring safe classroom protocols for all in attendance.
  • Drink and snack free.
  • Limiting social time and gathering places.
  • Limiting capacity of children in each service to accommodate safe social distancing requirements.

 

How YOU Can Help

  • Do not come to service if you have COVID or flu-like symptoms.
  • Maintain social distancing (6 feet) whenever possible.
  • Keep things clean. Throw used masks, gloves, PPE and trash in receptacles
  • Follow all guidelines, route direction, and sanctuary protocols as directed.
  • Sit in seat assignment given by the teacher.
  • Stay informed.

SOCIAL DISTANCING TIPS

  • Maintain social distancing (6 feet) whenever possible.
  • Avoid handshaking, hugging, and other forms of physical greetings.
  • Do not borrow or use another person’s belongings.

HYGIENE GUIDELINES

  • Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth.
  • Cover cough or sneeze with clean paper tissue or the crook of your elbow.

What if I don’t feel comfortable coming to church?

We encourage you to continue to worship with us online Sunday morning @ 9:30 am. You may watch the service on Facebook @ www.facebook.com/lpcmentor or on our website @ www.lpcmentor.com/message. Also, follow us on Instagram @lpstudentsmentor. 

Where will service be held?

Service will be held in our Student Classroom

What are service times?

Service times are Sundays at  9:30 am. and 11:15 am.  You can plan for service to last about 50 – 60 minutes. Seating will be limited to 15 students per service. 

How do I reserve a service time?

You can pre-register at www.lpcmentor.com/register or call the church office @ 440-205-9400. 

Are there restrictions to coming to church?

Please do not attend if you are experiencing COVID-19 or flu like symptoms. For those considered to be “high risk” or have a compromised immune system, we encourage you to participate through our online worship experience.

Am I required to wear a mask?

Mask use is optional.  If you prefer to wear a mask, we ask that you please bring your own. If you are in need of a mask, Life Point will provide disposable masks for you.

Where do I park?

There will be parking attendants to direct all parking.

Where do I enter the building?

Dream Team volunteers will direct you and you may look for the big red VIP tent. 

How do I give my tithe/offering?

Online giving @ www.lpcmentor.com/give,  text the amount you want to give to 84321, and giving stations will be available. No collection will take place during the service.

Will snacks and drinks be offered?

At this time we will not be offering any snacks or drinks. 

Now that we are having live service, will Life Groups be meeting?

Life Point Students meet every Wednesday from 7:00 – 8:30 at our new location in the Student Classroom.

 

Life Point Students Do’s & Don’ts

 DO                                                                             

  • Remember to greet (air 5, wave, smile) others from a social distance.
  • Social distance
  • Feel free to wear a mask
  • Allow teachers to seat you
  • Come ready to Praise and Worship and expect a great Word!
  • Dispose of masks and other PPE, tissue, or other trash properly
  • Register for the service you will be attending
  • Follow the service protocol and directions given by staff and Dream Team members

DON’T

  • Handshake or Hug
  • Expect everyone to be wearing a mask
  • Seat yourself or move seats
  • Leave your seat or wander about the sanctuary/building
  • Congregate/linger inside the facility after service
  • Let others use your personal belongings
  • Throw masks and other PPE, tissue, or other trash on  floor or leave on chairs
